Tesla Model S For Kids news, rumored specs: Tesla's battery-powered ride on is the best Christmas gift for children, according to reports
Tesla — in collaboration with the toymaker Radio Flyer — was able to make a 6mph electricity-run car called the Tesla Model S for Kids. While the new Tesla Model S was greatly reduced to specifically accommodate children, most of the tech implemented inside it has remained the same and is fully functional.
According to Game N Guide, reports state that the new Model S for Kids has some pretty formidable features such as fast-charging Lithium ion batteries, complemented by an electric motor that is capable of moving at a top speed of 6mph.
The Tesla Model S for Kids has a price of $626, making it a great birthday present for aspiring future drivers.
Additionally, the small vehicle has fully functional headlights along with a sound system and a trunk that can be used to store all sorts of objects such as toys, snacks, or other gadgets.
As for the car color, the Model S for Kids comes in white, red, and blue. The colors are representative of the standard Tesla Model S, and another layer of customization available for the children's vehicle also includes a number plate that can be personalized to suit the kid's tastes.
As for the sound system, children can plug in their iPhone as well as other similar media devices to play some tunes on the car's speakers.
For safety reasons, a switch is installed in order to control the top speed of the car from a minimum of 3mph to its maximum speed of 6mph.
Other features of the car include a spacious interior as well as the ability to move either forward or backward. According to the Tesla Model S website, the Model S for kids can also carry a maximum of 81 lbs, which means that kids from ages 3 to 8 can ride it without issues.
