'The 100' season 3 premiere: Clarke's new look revealed; Bobby Morley delivers dramatic performance
The CW's "The 100" gave fans of the series something to feast on earlier this month, when showrunner Jason Rothenberg released a teaser image of Clarke, played by Eliza Taylor, for the upcoming season 3, TV Over Mind reported.
Clarke was last seen leaving Camp Jaha back in the previous season after she wiped out those in Mount Weather to rescue people dear to her.
Her rescue mission bothered her conscience and guilt and so she decided to leave, even if it meant being away from people she cares about.
However, based on the photo (shown below) tweeted by the showrunner, it appears that Clarke is dressed as a Grounder.
It was revealed at Comic-Con that season 3 will begin with a time jump from season 2 finale leading up to the upcoming season. It was then speculated that Clarke could be in a new position or something may have happened in between the time jump for her to appear that way.
Actress Taylor even revealed that Clarke might lose her mind a little on the upcoming season because of the trauma she'd gone through, Entertainment Weekly reported.
With Clarke abandoning her people, it will be up to Bellamy (Bobby Morley) to lead the remaining 44 and fans should expect dramatic scenes portrayed by the actor.
In fact, even Rothenberg revealed on Twitter that Morley's portrayal of his character is very moving that he himself cried while filming it, International Business Times reported.
What will make Bellamy deliver a very emotional performance remains to be seen, but it was speculated that someone close to him might die.
It was previously reported that supervising producer Aaron Ginsburg had teased that a major character that's well loved by many "The 100" fans will die.
Could Bellamy's tear be caused by the death of someone special to him? That's one important question that season 3 will have to answer.
