In the next episode of "The Middle," Brick Heck (Atticus Shaffer) attempts to win Cindy (Casey Burke) back despite breaking up with her a few months back.

The synopsis and promotional pictures for the upcoming installment titled "The 200th" were just released recently and showed Brick at the town fair, looking at Cindy from afar. She appears to be serving juice drinks at one of the counters. The tall girl is still wearing her signature hat that covers her ears because she thinks they are too big. Brick rustles up the nerve to approach and talk to her. Apparently, he broke up with Cindy because he thought their relationship was not going anywhere. However, now he feels that he may have made a mistake and wants to get back with her. They talk at the drink stand and all of a sudden, the lanky girl gives Brick a kiss on the lips.

Needless to say, it appears that Brick and Cindy are back together again. However, it remains to be seen how long the quirky couple's relationship will last and if Brick will be able to resist finding faults in Cindy's behavior. Meanwhile, Brick's mom Frankie (Patricia Heaton) must find a special family item to place inside the town's time capsule. This will be positioned inside a replica of the Orson cow which will then be buried under the ground.

In the last episode, Axl met up with his old college roommate Hutch (Alphonso McAuley) who happened to turn his life around and became more responsible. Hutch landed a stable job and got his own apartment. This impressed Axl very much that he then decided to imitate his old friend and take charge of his life.

"The Middle" season 9 episode 9 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
