Christian praise and worship music group "Hillsong Worship" or "Hillsong" recently released their very own Christmas collection. The "The Peace Project" was released on Oct. 20 with seven original songs and five arrangements of famous Christmas hits. This is the 26^th album of the band.

According to the album's description, the music group's objective is to spread the joy of the Holiday season to everyone, especially those going through tough ordeals. "Our prayer is that as we enjoy the festivities of the season, that our worship may also be felt in some of the most chaotic and dark places on earth," Hillsong wrote.

The album features classic Christmas songs including "Joy to the World," "Hark," "O Holy Night," "O Come, All Ye Faithful," and "Silent Night (with Saviour King)." The band added new lyrics especially in the chorus of these rearranged songs. "The Peace Project" also brings new tracks like "Arrival," "Theme of the Eastern Star," "Peace Upon the Earth," and more. The album has received several positive comments and feedback from people all over the world.

The last album released by the band before "The Peace Project" is "Let There Be light," which came out in Oct. 14, 2016.  It was categorized under iTunes' Inspirational album list.  "The Peace Project" is available on iTunes and Spotify. People can also buy Hillsong Worship's 26th album from their website for AUD $20 or $15. The band also uploaded the all the songs of "The Peace Project" on YouTube.

There is still no information on the band's 27th album and its release date. 

Hillsong Worship is one of the bands of the "Hillsong Church" and it was established in 1983 out of Sydney, Australia. The band is a collaboration of Australian and New Zealand natives. The initial name of the band when it was founded by New Zealanders Brian and Bobbie Houston was "Hillsong Church" or "Hills."
