In the next episodes of "The Shannara Chronicles," Wil (Austin Butler) and Mareth (Malese Jow) battle the powerful Bandon (Marcus Vanco).

The trailer for the upcoming installments titled "Paranor" and "Crimson" was just released recently and showed Wil in a heated sword battle with the villainous Bandon in Palanor. Wil swings his weapon at his enemy's neck but Bandon is able to duck and avoid it. Apparently, Bandon needs Wil's friend Allanon (Manu Bennett) to do something important for him. The druid Allanon is the only one who is able to open the tomb where the Warlock Lord's skull is kept. Bandon needs the skull in order to resurrect the Warlock who has the power to take over the Four Lands. It remains to be seen if Bandon will be able to force his hand on Wil and make him do what he wants.

After their journey in Palanor, Wil and Mareth continue on to unchartered territory where they have to recover a valuable item. Along their path, they meet an unexpected individual who trips in front of them. Wil kindly picks him up and introduces himself. The stranger replies, "I'm Shea. Shea Ohmsford." Wil is surprised as the new acquaintance appears to be young version of his father. It remains to be seen how their awkward interaction will play out and what young Shea is doing there.

In the last episode, Wil, Mareth, and Allanon made their way to a strange land to retrieve the Sword of Shannara from Wil's father's resting place. They were met by a giant deadly spider that almost killed Allanon. However, Wil was there and used his magic powers to eliminate the hideous creature.

"The Shannara Chronicles" season 2 episodes 5 and 6 will hit the airwaves back-to-back on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 9 p.m. EDT on Spike.
