The trailer for the eleventh episode of season 8 of "The Walking Dead" shows Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Rosita (Christian Serratos) crossing dangerous territory at an ex-Savior's behest, while Maggie (Lauren Cohan) may be losing more of her humanity.

The characters of "The Walking Dead" have gone through horrific experiences in the course of the show. This season is no different, with main protagonist Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) losing his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) to a zombie bite in the mid-season premiere. It seems that more action is coming to the show, with the colony called Hilltop in danger of an attack from Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the current antagonist.

In the episode's trailer, Dwight (Austin Amelio), the defector from Negan's Saviors, shows the survivors an unmapped route to Hilltop. Daryl, Rosita, and Tara (Alanna Masterson) are leading a group trying to reach the safety of the colony. However, to get there, the group would have to wade through a swamp filled with zombies (or walkers, in the show's parlance). Dwight revealed that Negan considered the area too dangerous for the Saviors to cross.

Even so, Daryl and Rosita are shown wading into the swamp. Unsurprisingly, numerous walkers appear from below the surface, with Rosita fighting one of them off. However, whether or not the entire group makes it past the swamp in one piece, unbitten and uninfected by the walkers, remains to be seen.

Maggie is also shown at Hilltop, where she is the new leader. In the trailer, she is talking to a group of prisoners of war, members of the Saviors captured in a raid and kept as possible bargaining chips. She tells the prisoners that she intends to stop feeding them, before telling them that they are the enemy.

Jesus (Tom Payne), who caught the prisoners, previously implored Maggie to keep them alive and show them mercy. However, as the trailer showed, Maggie may change her mind.

Rick's group became fragmented in the course of his war with Negan. Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) is shown leading a group of people to a house that may be free of walkers. Eugene (Josh McDermitt), meanwhile, is shown holding up a bullet he created for Negan. Tara is also shown confronting Dwight, who killed her girlfriend while he was still with the Saviors, aiming a gun at his head and telling him that he "should have stayed with the Saviors."

Episode 11 of "The Walking Dead's" eighth season is called "Dead or Alive Or." It will be released on Sunday, March 11, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
