As the premiere of "The 100" season 3 draws near, fans get the chance to know more about what the future has in store for Clarke and the rest of the gang, who are just trying to move on from a massive war that left many dead and scarred for life.

The CW recently released a promotional poster for the much-awaited season. The image featured Clarke looking over a decrepit city shrouded in a cloud of mist. This place is believed to be the City of Light. Another notable element to be taken away from the photo is the red hairdo the heroine sported.

As fans would remember, Clarke exiled herself away from Camp Jaha after having murdered the Mountain Men and rumor has it that in "The 100" season3, she will be seen hanging out with the Grounders. She will eventually return, though, as seen in the action-packed trailer released just recently.

Upon her return, however, Clarke will be in grave danger. In the video, Indira can be heard saying that she "is being hunted by everyone." Clarke has apparently journeyed to Polis, and the people there do not seem to like her at all.

Things would not be all that bad for Clarke in "The 100" season 3, however. At some point in her troubles, she will allegedly find romance with a kind-hearted observant trading post worker. However, this will only be short-lived with Ice Nation crashing the party.

For Bellarke shippers, fret not because the season may finally see the ship sailing. Clarke and Bellamy had a tender moment in the trailer. The former gave the latter a big hug upon her return. Whether or not this means something remains to be seen.

There's reason to believe it does mean something because the trailer also shows Clarke on the verge of slicing the throat of Lexa, who also just got back. What could this not so warm welcome mean?

Fans will find out when "The 100: season 3 premieres Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET on CW.
