"The 100" season 3 will certainly show no mercy to Clarke and the gang. Writer and producer Aaron Ginsburg is used to saying that there will be a lot of dead bodies lying around and some may even be of major characters in the post-apocalyptic series.

When asked how many deaths fans can expect in the new season, Ginsburg assured that "it's not a low number." In a separate and far more cryptic tweet, the producer hinted that fans might see a major character bite the dust in the new season.

For a while now, there have been speculations flying around about a key character meeting his or her demise in "The 100" season 3. Unfortunately, there's still no concrete information as to who it ends up being, leaving fans both excited and worried.

"Don't know what's worse: how much blood is all over set right now or that the blood belongs to a character you guys like," Ginsburg tweeted. Fans could only hope that none among Clarke, Lexa, Bellamy and Octavia will be the receiving end of something deadly anytime soon.

According to Melty, this unimaginable bloodshed is likely going to take place in another full-scale warfare that is either on the level or more than what fans got to witness in the finale of the second season of "The 100."

The last time fans saw the group, Clarke left the Sky People and Camp Jaha and is suspected to be hanging out with the Grounders when the new run starts. It has already been reported that season 3 will feature a time jump.

Viewers may even be treated to moments shared by Clarke and Lexa, though there will be scenes in "The 100" season 3 that will squeeze together Clarke and Bellamy as well. However things end up, it looks like Clarke will find her way back.
