More heart-pounding moments are heading to TV screens next week, as the second part of "The 100" season 2 finale will air the long awaited battle that Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and the rest of the group have been preparing for.

Viewers were not expecting to see the betrayal of Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) that happened in the penultimate episode of the season. This left Clarke and the rest of the Sky people devastated. How will this turn of events affect the second part of the finale?

The official synopsis for the episode titled "Blood Must Have Blood, Part 2" reads:

"The journey to the City of Light continues, and Jaha makes a move that shocks Murphy (guest star Richard Harmon). Clarke receives help from an unexpected source, a visitor surprises Octavia, and Lincoln gets his revenge. Meanwhile, at Mount Weather, Cage (guest star Johnny Whitworth) moves forward with his mission and Bellamy and the group struggle to break free."

In an interview with IGN, Debnam-Carey talked about the relationship between her character Lexa and Clarke. According to the Australian actress, Lexa and Clarke have a lot of things in common, which is why they can learn a lot from one another. She said that since both characters are nursing a heartbreak after losing Costia and Finn (Thomas McDonnell), they are in a similar situation that will make them bound to each other.

"I think Clarke brings a very new perspective which is refreshing and attractive. So it's a lovely friendship, as well, that we see growing, too," she said. "It's an interesting time for Lexa because she can start opening up a little bit, which is obviously very hard for her."

But after the very bitter betrayal, can Clarke find herself trusting Lexa again?

"The 100" season 2 finale episode airs March 11 on The CW.
