With "The 100" season 4 still in production, fans turn to social media and reach out to the cast and crew to learn more about what the new season has in store for them.

"The 100" costume designer Allisa Swanson recently took to Twitter to share a bit of what to expect in the new season, and she hinted that there will be bloody episodes coming.

Episode 8, in particular, will leave a mark as Swanson implied that someone "gets maimed, wounded or killed" in this particular installment.

She also teased that the "upcoming episode is going to be big" after working two days and counting on the costumes. It is unclear if this "The 100" season 4 installment is episode 8 as well.

Not too long ago, executive producer Aaron Ginsburg teased that they were working on "the most twisted, brutal episode" in the history of the show.

It is likely that Ginsburg and Swanson were both talking about the same "The 100" season 4 episode since it will possibly serve as the midseason finale.

The respective eighth episodes of the second and third season of "The 100" were the final installments to air before the show went on a break.

Meanwhile, Ginsburg also clarified things about the rumors of the show's cancellation. He doused the fears of fans by tweeting "Seeing as how we're currently MAKING the show, I'm confident that we have, indeed, not been canceled."

The reports suggest that "The 100" season 4 will be the end of the road for the show after Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) was killed off. The lesbian warrior's death earned flak, primarily from LGBT fans.

The damage of the creative decision will reportedly extend so far as to getting the show canceled, although Ginsburg's assurance should appease fans.

"The 100" season 4 is expected to premiere early next year on The CW.
