The Bachelorette 2013 finale winner spoilers: "Is Brooks Forester even done with Desiree Hartsock?" Chris Harrison talks possibilities

The buzz continues on whether "The Bachelorette" Desiree Hartsock will end up alone or if the reality show will end with a fairy tale engagement.

This week's finale episode part 1 saw Hartsock's love Brooks Forester dump her, leaving her devastated after believing that they had something.

Host Chris Harrison spoke to EXTRA, describing his shock after Forester's decision.

"I was incredibly shocked. When I got a call from the producers that Brooks had gone home to talk to his family and that it didn't go well and that he was very much considering leaving and pulling himself out of this, we went to go talk to him the next day.

"So I got up and went to his place (that's what you saw when I visited with him) and I think looking back now I got to see everything. The writing was on the wall, and I think he'd already decided prior to meeting with his family that he was kind of done.

"It wasn't that he didn't care for her or even love her, he just wasn't where she was. He saw how dead-set she was on marriage and maybe where this was heading and he just wasn't there."

Harrison also provided some clues for next week's finale part 2, where fans will finally see what happens to Hartsock.

"There's a million possibilities now. Between all three guys. The way that it ended last night. Last week is as good, or maybe even more riveting than last night."

This may point to a happy ending, and Harrison slightly hints that Forester may come back.

"It's this late in the game, can you recover? Is it possible to see if there's still something with Drew and Chris, or is Brooks even done? Is he so confused, is he gonna come back?"

In part 1 of the finale, Forester had visited his family to tell them that he is not comfortable with proposing to her. He later dropped the bombshell to Hartsock in Antigua, who tearfully asked, "Why now?"

Despite this, she admitted to loving Brooks Forester.

Hartsock told Harrison that she could not love Drew Kenney and Chris Siegfried "as much as they love me and that's not what they deserve."

The episode ends with Hartsock saying she wants to go home.

On Tuesday night, Hartsock sent out a mysterious tweet, telling her followers, "Hearts may break but spirits stay high.. Stay tuned next Monday for the finale! #happytears #thebachelorette"

The 27-year-old referred to her tears as happy tears, meaning that she could end up engaged after all. Forester may come back and surprise her with a proposal, or she may end up with Siegfried or Kenney.
