In an unexpected twist, the producers of "The Bachelorette" announced that two women will try to find their luck in love in the 11th season of the hit reality match-making show.

"The Bachelorette" season 11 will feature Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe as the searchers, but only one of them will get the chance to find the right guy. The 25 new suitors will decide who among the ladies will be the ideal wife.

"For the first time in Bachelorette history, we're gonna have two Bachelorettes," host Chris Harrison shared to the confused studio audience. "That's right; it is going to be Britt and Kaitlyn. So the 25 men, on night one, they are going to have the ultimate say on who they think would make the best wife."

But it seems that even Britt and Kaitlyn did not expect to hear the news, since neither of them expected "The Bachelor" host to announce that both girls will be featured in "The Bachelorette."

"I'm super grateful," Britt claimed. "I think it's an amazing opportunity. It's more than I can comprehend. I'm still having trouble processing it, but I love Kaitlyn, so we'll see how it goes."

This will not be the first time that Britt and Kaitlyn will have to battle head on for a chance to find the guy of their dreams. In the recently concluded "The Bachelor" season 19, the ladies had to fight each other for Chris Soules' affection. However, Kaitlyn was eliminated in week 9, while Britt failed to get a rose on week 7.

This is also not the first time that "The Bachelor" franchise is featuring two searchers in a season. Back in 2004, 25 women had to decide who between Byron Velvick and Jay Overbye would end up as the ultimate bachelor in season 6. During that season, Byron was the lucky guy who was given the chance to stay and pick among the ladies.

"The Bachelorette" season 11 is slated to air on May 19.
