'The Big Bang Theory' season 9 episode 8 spoilers: Sheldon looks for a new girlfriend in 'The Mystery Date Observation'

After having to endure the sight of seeing his former girlfriend he was going to propose to kiss another man, Sheldon rises up to the heartbreak and decides to move on in "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 8 titled "The Mystery Date Observation."

As teased in the promo, Sheldon is "back on the market" and puts his charm back to work. "I have the soulful eyes of a cow," he tells Raj, who himself is tantalized by them. Together with Raj and Howard, who helped Sheldon and Amy fall in love, the amorous genius searches for a new girlfriend.

In the promo for the upcoming "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode, fans get a glimpse of model actress Analeigh Tipton, who will play the role of Sheldon's new love interest. Not much is known about the character except her name – Vanessa.

Interestingly, Tipton has already appeared in the series back in 2008 in a season 2 episode titled "The Panty Piñata Polarization," where Raj and Howard tried to sneak into the house of the "America's Next Top Model" contestants, who included Tipton.

However, in this "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode, the "Crazy, Stupid, Love" star will play an entirely new character, although it is Raj and Howard once again who stumble upon her and eventually deem her fit for Sheldon to date.

Meanwhile, Amy is also going on a date with Dave, the same man Sheldon found her kissing at the front of her apartment. Knowing this, Penny, Bernadette and Leonard make it their mission to know how the evening will turn out by going undercover.

It remains to be seen if these two new people in Sheldon and Amy's lives will help them move past their relationship. Right now, it is fun seeing Sheldon make real valiant effort to actually move on.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 8 "The Mystery Date Observation" airs Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
