The heat is on when "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 4 airs as one of the show's couples will be living together — for a while, at least.

The synopsis for the episode titled "The Cohabitation Experimentation," posted on Futon Critic, reads: "When Amy's apartment floods, she proposes a 'cohabitation experiment' with Sheldon. Also, Howard and Bernadette are upset when Koothrappali learns the gender of the baby before they do."

The teaser has also been released, and, apparently, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is not too thrilled that his girlfriend Amy (Mayim Balik) will be moving in, sharing his room, and sleeping in his bed.

However, according to the International Business Times, the couple shacking up together just might only be a temporary arrangement.

"I don't want to give away too much, but there are some big experiments in store for them and their relationship," executive producer Steve Molaro told Entertainment Weekly. "I'm stressing the word experiment and it's something that would they even consider it? Well, usually a good way to trick Sheldon into doing things is by framing it in terms of science," he went on to say

He did clarify that Sheldon is not being tricked; rather, he is fully aware of the situation, and everyone will be working their way through the whole thing.

Meanwhile, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) are expecting a baby. They did not plan on having one, and the mom-to-be is not so good at handling the pregnancy mentally because she never did like kids. But, as the synopsis reveals, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) finds out the baby's gender before the couple does, and they're not very happy about it.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 4, "The Cohabitation Experimentation," is scheduled to be aired on CBS on Oct. 10, while episode 5, "The Hot Tub Contamination," will be shown on Oct. 17.
