Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) are about to have their first baby. But how will the entire gang react when a cuddly little child begins to join the mix?

The cast talked about the upcoming baby addition in an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in April, after the viewers discovered that the Wolowitzes are having a child.

According to Kunal Nayyar, it would be better if they use fake babies instead of real ones.

"Because then we're going to have to cast babies like the Olsen twins," the actor, who portrays the role of Raj in the sitcom, said.

Meanwhile, actor Jim Parsons revealed that having a baby on the show could be bearable.

"Jim is fine with a baby coming on the show because it's not mine," he said.

But he is not sure if his character Sheldon will also like the idea of an infant crawling around his apartment.

"I don't know if he's going to be excited about it, but I kind of hope not because that would mean that I have to hold it for lots of episodes," he added.

But Kaley Cuoco admitted that she is not really looking forward to seeing babies on the set of "The Big Bang Theory." But when asked how she wanted to postpone the possible addition of two young infants on the show, the actress said: "Maybe [Bernadette] can be pregnant for, like, three seasons so we can wait a couple of years, but we'll see."

However, executive producer Steven Molaro assured the fans that adding twin babies will not cause drastic changes in the gang's normal lives.

"The fact that it's Bernadette and Howard is a way that it's manageable," Molaro said. "If it was Penny, that could seriously alter the DNA of the show." He also assured that the kids will not stay on the main set, and baby sitters and grandparents will be there to care for them.

Meanwhile, multiple reports claim that Cuoco and Johnny Galecki will depart from the show after season 10. This means that the husband and wife Leonard and Penny will have to say goodbye to their friends after the upcoming season. But the actors have yet to confirm if the rumors are true.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is expected to premiere in CBS this fall.
