According to speculations, Howard and Bernadette's baby will become a central story in season 10 of "The Big Bang Theory."

Reportedly, some observers believe that the show creators may inject a disaster plot in the new season, with the baby at the center. At the end of season 9, it is confirmed that Howard and Bernadette is going to have a baby. However, it may have been foreshadowed that there will be some difficulties in the pregnancy, like Howard and Raj (Kunal Nayyar), trying to locate Baby Wolowitz's heart using a doppler device, but failing to do so.

It is still unclear though, on what track season 10 will point to. According to The Inquisitr, showrunner Steve Molaro did hint that the show will have a happy ending.

Meanwhile, it is said that due to the continued success of "The Big Bang Theory," the show will still have life after season 10. In a report by ET Online, it is said that network CBS is confident that the show will continue. CBS president Glenn Geller is quoted as saying, "We are very confident that everyone wants Big Bang past year 10 and I know Warner Bros. [TV] will make those deals."

The show ending at season 10 is rumored by industry followers, after some of the actors themselves alluded to it. Kunal Nayyar, who plays Raj in the series, said earlier this year: "Look, next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season of Big Bang Theory."

However, Nayyar admitted that he himself did not know if there will be changes. The actor added, "To be completely honest ... I know people are going to want to know what happens after season 10. I don't know what's going to happen."

The next season of "The Big Bang Theory" is slated to return on Sept. 19 on CBS.
