Before anything else, let's get this out of the way. "The Big Bang Theory" is a hit series for CBS, no one can deny that. Sure, the cast members haven't signed contracts yet for the 11th season of the series, but that does not mean that they aren't interested in returning.

Several reports with the ominous title "'The Big Bang Theory' canceled" have been saying the cast and the studio are still far apart in contract negotiations. That much is true, but now is not the time to panic.

Remember "Friends"? Well, the salary negotiation process for that show was a pain for NBC, and it certainly took some time to iron out. But at the end of the day, the studio managed to work things out with the cast. Well, their contracts may have been bloated at $1 million per episode, but the point is, studios are always willing to negotiate if a show continues to make them a truckload of money.

CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller was present at the 2016 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour last August and he said (via E! Online) that they "are very confident that everyone involved wants more 'Big Bang' past year 10 and I know Warner Bros. will make those deals."

Yes, the studio is going to do whatever they can to keep the show going. There are rumors saying the show is getting canceled because Kaley Cuoco wants to have a baby or she's allegedly jealous of co-star Melissa Rauch. The question is: Are these even legitimate news? Where do people get these stories?

Sure, Cuoco wants a baby in the future, but that does not mean she has to leave the show for that. Zooey Deschanel was pregnant when "New Girl" season 5 was being filmed and she didn't drop out of that show.

Reports of the show's demise are a little premature. Don't believe in them unless CBS comes forward and admits that they failed to get the cast back.
