In the next episode of the "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) gives his friends and fiancée Amy Fowler (Mayim Bialik) a hard time on when he wants to get married.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Retraction Reaction" was just released which showed Cooper telling his friends Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki), Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar), and Penny Hofstadter (Kaley Cuoco) to put aside 80 dates where one will be eventually chosen by the future groom.

In a sneak peek, Fowler asks Cooper, "I thought we agreed on June 15." However, Cooper just rejects that particular date saying it comes after "Flag Day" which is already a busy day in itself.

Irked by Cooper's pettiness, Wolowitz tells him to just pick a date for their wedding. The defiant husband-to-be replies, "It's not just a date. It's a textbook optimization problem. There is a perfect date just like there is a perfect room temperature and a perfect dessert."

Cooper's friends remain unconvinced and think that he is just making a big deal out of it. The scientist tells all of them, "If you give me enough time, I can do the same thing with a wedding date. It needs to be on the weekend, not near any of your birthdays, or the weekend of Comic-Con." It remains to be seen if Cooper will be able to pick a suitable date at all.

In the last episode, Cooper, Wolowitz, Hofstadter, and Koothrappali were on the brink of losing their jobs at the university. However, it seems like they were able to keep their jobs since the upcoming episode shows Cooper planning for the wedding which requires a good amount of money.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 11 episode 3 will air on Monday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
