Amy (Mayim Bialik) has a new suitor in Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie) in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "The Big Bang Theory."

In "The Perspiration Implementation," Cartermatt reports that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) has some serious competition over Amy's attention. His coworker and occasional rival is back and it looks like he is thoroughly smitten with Sheldon's ex-girlfriend. With Amy's continuous refusal to get back with him, Sheldon has been thoroughly depressed. Will he be able to handle the heat once Barry pursues Amy?

Now that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) are starting their new life as a married couple, Sheldon finds himself with the short end of the stick. He has lost his roommate of ten years, and he is dreading how things will be now that Leonard has a wife. While Penny assures him that nothing will change, he is certainly feeling the blues of being rejected. His quest to find a new roomie is also going down the drain, as he cannot seem to find the perfect match for him.

Barry returns to teach the boys the art of fencing, after they expressed interest to be better at sports. Things will get dicey when he expresses interest in the newly single Amy. Hollywood Hills reveals that he will be asking her out for a date, but Amy will reportedly turn him down. There is no telling what sort of determination Barry has in his pursuit of Amy, but viewers can expect that Sheldon will not take that lying down.

Meanwhile, the girls will be busy assisting Stuart (Kevin Sussman) in the upcoming episode. When they see him struggling to get female customers at the Comic Book Store, Penny, Amy, and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will think of a way to help him out. Will it be better than Raj's (Kunal Nayyar) suggestion to hire a band with a "filk" genre, the one with a mixture of folk music with a science fiction/fantasy undertone?

"The Big Bang Theory" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
