Things are getting a bit serious in the upcoming episode of comedy television series "The Big Bang Theory" with Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) starting a petition. Season 11's episode 15, titled "The Novelization Correlation," will air on Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Sheldon struggles about the fact that his former nemesis-turned-friend and now his nemesis again Wil Wheaton got cast to play Sheldon's idol Professor Proton. In an attempt to have Wheaton kicked from the show, Sheldon starts a petition. However, things do not go according to his plan with Wheaton coming to Amy with a part for the show.

Husband and wife Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) are also having some trouble of their own on the next episode. Penny will get fired up for assuming that the female protagonist in his husband's novel is based on her.

In the promo video, the rest of the gang are also mixing it up with a mystery lingering. The video shows Howard (Simon Helberg) ditching his Beatles haircut and turtleneck for a cool hairstyle, a bowtie, and suspenders. Also in the upcoming episode, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) has a stylish beard, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Leonard looking fierce without their glasses, and Stuart (Kevin Sussman) all pale but this time with a macho moustache.

Episode 14 of season 11 got over 14.92 million viewers, according to Tv By The Numbers, which is over a million shorter compared to that of episode 13.

"The Big Bang Theory" is nearing its season 11 end with 14 episodes released. But fans still have a lot to look forward to especially Sheldon and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) wedding and the fact that the show was renewed for season 12.

There are speculations that season 12 will be the show's final hurrah before closing the curtains. Even the show's very own Johnny Galecki believes the show will end at season 12.
