Season 3 of "The Blacklist" is set to arrive to TV screens next week and spoilers have slowly surfaced adding excitement over the show.

In the last episode of season 2, it was shown that Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone) and Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) were on the run. Entertainment Weekly reported that season 3 will pick up from where season 2 left off — with the duo still on the run.

Episode 1 will be titled "The Troll Farmer" and as per Spoilers Guide, the premiere will start off with the FBI pursuing Liz for the death of the Attorney General.

Liz and Red's names now belong to the bureau's Most Wanted Fugitives list. Red will then turn to a Blacklister known as "The Troll Farmer," who will help them get away from the city.

The task force assigned to the duo's capture will now start to doubt within the group as to who among them can be trusted.

Since Liz is also on a run, she will be sporting a new look — a blondie, who was described by actress Boone to look like Liz's mother.

"She's transforming into a woman that was a mystery to her before," she said in a report from Entertainment Weekly.

It was also revealed by show creator Jon Bokenkamp that Liz and Red's backstory will be featured as the new season progresses, Design & Trend reported.

Meanwhile, a new villain is also making its way to the series. Edi Gathegi will be the show's new antagonist as he will take the role of Mr. Solomon, the "cleaner" who works for the Cabal.

Gathegi will make his debut during the premiere episode and will also be a recurring character since he's listed in at least four episodes of the show.

"The Blacklist" will return for its third season with new episodes starting Thursday, Oct. 1, at 9 p.m. EST.
