The last time viewers saw Liz (Megan Boone) in "The Blacklist," she was very confused while calling an adoption agency. She wanted to give up the baby and have him/her raised away from all the drama brought by Red (James Spader) and Tom (Ryan Eggold).

When Liz learned that she was pregnant, she told her former husband that they needed to get out of the trade if they want to see their child have a normal life. Tom then told her that they could do that, but the first thing that they had to do was run away from Red. He even tried to look for other jobs to provide for Liz and the baby. Tom also adopted a dog, just like any normal family does. Red, however, told Liz that it would be mistake to be away from him, as he would not be able to protect her.

At the end of the episode, viewers saw how Liz dealt with the confusing arguments of the two most important men in her life. She opted for the kid to be brought up by other people. Liz looked like she was really set on her decision, but will that change the moment she learns that Tom's former flame is in town to shake things up? According to the promo, Gina Zanetakos (Margarita Levieva) has returned. Will her arrival make things difficult for pregnant Liz?

Meanwhile, the synopsis reveals that there is a new blacklister to keep the FBI busy. In "Alistair Pitt," CarterMatt reports an infamous crime negotiator called the Matchmaker (Tony Shalhoub) will attempt to unite two large, dangerous crime families. Red is particularly wary with this new villain, as he will ask the agency to work fast in apprehending him. Will the FBI manage to stop the Matchmaker from accomplishing evil plans?

"The Blacklist" season 3 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
