In the next episode of "The Blacklist," FBI agents Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) and the rest of the team take down killer cops-for-hire.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Miss Rebecca Thrall" was just released and showed a man getting shot by a policeman in cold blood. The cop then goes over and puts a gun in the hand of the murdered man. This is an attempt to make it look like the man tried to shoot the cop but was actually defenseless.

Another cop appears to be chasing another supposed perpetrator and aims her gun at him. The innocent man gets surprised and raises his hand in shock. It is hinted here that the dirty cop may have shot and killed the man for some nefarious reason.

Elizabeth suggests that the cops are possibly killer cops-for-hire. "And unless you find them, it will not be the last [of the murders]," Raymond Reddington (James Spader) warns his daughter.

In a later scene, it appears that the cops have caught Reddington and Elizabeth's husband Tom (Ryan Eggold). These policemen may seemingly be crooked as well and it remains to be seen if Reddington and Tom will be able to get out of that tight spot.

In the last episode, Reddington and Elizabeth's threat was not that dire as they managed to capture the notorious thief Greyson Blaise (Owain Yeoman) through skill and deception. They replicated a very famous but missing painting by Van Gogh and gave it to Blaise as a gift. However, Italian police authorities were waiting outside to catch him.

Apparently, Reddington double-crossed Blaise and informed the police. He was also able to get hold of Blaise's past heists and stolen properties from his mansion.

"The Blacklist" season 5 episode 3 will air on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
