It seems that Bill (Don Diamont) and Steffy's (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) secret will trigger a chain of events that can potentially further drive Steffy and Liam's (Scott Clifton) marriage apart. "The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers suggest that Hope (Annika Noelle) will be returning to Los Angeles in January's episodes.

With Hope coming back, there will undoubtedly be some drama in the mix. Hope has always had feelings for Liam, so there is a good chance that she will dive into his storyline once she is back in town. When she finally arrives, she has some options when it comes to work. She can go back to Forrester Creations, but she can also make a change and decide to work for Spectra Fashions.

Since Bill is planning to rebuild everything, the team will have made good progress come next year. He might even put Hope in touch with Sally (Courtney Hope). Bill definitely will have a hidden agenda by putting this together. He would also want to keep Hope around so she could break Steffy and Liam up. This would give him a shot to swoop in and be with Steffy.

Fortunately for Bill, things might definitely lean towards his favor, because Sally might find out about the secret he and Steffy are keeping. Sally would definitely be on board for a chance to be with Liam, but she appears to only want Liam to be happy. With that in mind, she would definitely want Liam to get away from his wife. If her shot with Liam follows that, then she would be over the moon. If not, Sally can probably accept it too. At least she was there for him.

This could set up a secret alliance between Hope and Sally. Should Sally reveal this to Hope, they could team up to break Steffy and Liam up. They might probably want Liam to see Steffy's infidelity with his own eyes. If they set a trap that could tempt Steffy and Bill into doing it again, then they might get their desired outcome. Liam would believe what they told him and possibly become single again.

Here is where things could get complicated. Hope might likely claim that she is over Liam. She could insist that she is willing to help Sally for Liam's sake. But what if Hope falls in love with Liam again? Hope and Sally could turn into rivals and another love triangle will occur.
