The race is on for the fans of "The Crew 2," as the developers have announced the registration for the beta of the upcoming racing game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4), and PC.

Developer Ivory Tower and publisher Ubisoft have now greenlit the player registration for the upcoming beta of "The Crew 2." Registration is easy, and the only thing players will need is a valid Ubisoft account in order to sign up for the beta version. This will then give players access to the early stages of the game in order for them to see what aspects need fixing or improving in the upcoming game.

However, potential buyers should be advised that the game's release date is still in limbo and has not been announced yet. It was supposed to be released in March next year, but the developers have opted to delay the release in order to focus on polishing and refining the game. The introduction of the beta version does not change this, unfortunately.

Still, players who signed up for the beta will be lucky enough to experience "The Crew 2" in its splendor, as the game will be taking place in a vast open world of road networks which will cater to the digital motorsporting needs of the players. This open-world has been named Motornation, a fictional playground for vehicles in the United States which will allow players to ride whatever vehicles they want whether the terrain is ground, sea, or sky.

Gamers can either cruise in their expensive vehicles or race other players in a bid to see who is the fastest in the crew. "The Crew 2" will also be the sequel to "The Crew," but it expands on the latter by adding a lot more options for travel and racing. The game is also expected to have a big player base since "The Crew" was well-received, earning 12 million registered players.

The game has no release date yet but will arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and Microsoft Windows. Those interested in joining the beta can register here.
