It seems that game developer Ubisoft is trying to entice players back to "The Division." The studio rolled out a hefty update version 1.4 for all platforms and will feature a new World Tier, user interface (UI) improvements, and gameplay changes, among others.

"The Divisions'" 1.4 update is roughly around 5 GB, depending on the platform. The biggest update comes in at 5.34 GB for the Xbox One, followed by 4.64 GB for the PlayStation 4, and 3.7 GB for the PC via Steam.

According to the patch notes released by the studio, a new feature called World Tiers matches a player's level to the main open world starting at level 30. This will affect the skill level of enemy non-playable characters (NPC) as well as the loot drops. There will also be four levels available: 30, 31, 32, and 33. Level 31 and up will also feature the Challenge mode and Incursions.

Previously, the raid activities offered by the game bring the low-level players at the mercy of the high-level ones. This time, everybody will be segregated accordingly. Low-skilled players were also complaining about the tough NPCs to beat just to have a good level loot drop. This is no more now.

PC players will now have a player reporting interface, and they can now mark weapons and gears as favorites to prevent them from being sold, shared or disassembled. There is also a buy back option to vendor's inventory to recover accidentally sold items, as well as a Quick Nav option to quickly select items they want to dispose of.

Players will now have the option to change to a better performing server, the weapon skins do not take up inventory space, and the equipped items list is now always present at the top of the inventory list.

Gameplay changes include a lower time-to-kill rival NPCs, improved AI improvements and a 50 percent increase in ammo capacity once a player reaches level 30. Players performing combat roll will now experience a lower accuracy for a few seconds before getting back to normal, magazines inserted on weapons will also auto-refill upon restocking from an ammo crate, and the indicator of rogue players on the map will now increase in size as it gets closer to a player.

There is still a lot more on the list of changes brought in by the update.

"The Division" is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
