"The Divisions's" second DLC, "Survival," is now locked and loaded. Players can now experience a severe snowstorm in New York City, or what is left of it. Patch 1.5 brings several bug fixes and system improvements. The patch is only for Xbox One and Windows PC players.

The second DLC's description reads: "As New York is hit by a devastating snowstorm, The Division agents receive intel about some powerful anti-virals left behind in the Dark Zone, that could help stem the spread of the pandemic. But before they manage to reach their destination, the agents' chopper is taken down by the intensifying weather," according to the press release obtained by Gamasutra.

Players will then have to find warm clothes, craft their own gear, rummage for food, medication, and water until they make their way to their objectives. A total of 24 agents will have to survive the extreme weather condition in the city at any single time.

There are two game modes in the latest downloadable content, PVE, and PVP. In PVE, all of them will be cooperating with each other in order to win the round, while in PVP, they can either cooperate or go against one another. Since PVP will include additional risks, there will be additional rewards for completing the round.

Meanwhile, Patch 1.5 brings in the new World Tier 5 level (224+GS), level 34 for enemy non-playable characters (NPC), an increased Gear Score level of 256, and a change in a sense that Heroic Incursions can only be accessed by Tier 5 players. Name Gear items, which comes with unique Talent, are now implemented. These include Ferro's oxygen mask, Shortbow championship pads, Colonel Bliss' holster, Skulls MC gloves, Barrett's bulletproof chest piece and NinjaBike messenger bag.

Additionally, the latest patch also features Enemy Armor Damage, stagger function in PvP, and Tactical Advance. Several adjustments were also made on Gear Score, crafting materials, supply drops, and scavenger crates, in relation to the new World Tier levels. Credits and Phoenix Credits also received the appropriate adjustments.

"The Division Survival" DLC is now available for Xbox and Windows PC players, while PlayStation 4 fans will experience it on Dec. 21.
