It has been a while since Bethesda released a new major installment from "The Elder Scrolls" video game franchise, the last being "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." This is why fans of the action role-playing video game are eager to find out any new piece of information about the highly anticipated "The Elder Scrolls 6."

Reports about the game have been scarce but the fans of "The Elder Scrolls" franchise are hoping to hear about "The Elder Scrolls 6" now that "Fallout 4," the other popular video game series from Bethesda, finally made its way to the market on Nov. 10.

However, the studio remains tight-lipped regarding the alleged sixth installment of "The Elder Scrolls" series, and Bethesda's VP of Marketing Pete Hines revealed during this year's E3 conference back in June that any announcement about "The Elder Scrolls 6" might not come anytime soon since they still had work to do with "Fallout 4."

"We do smaller stuff, we don't publish to scale, we try to publish to quality. Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn't differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it's presented but we've still stuck to who we are," Hines explained at the conference, as quotd by Telegraph UK.

Crossmap previously revealed that the "The Elder Scrolls 6" will not be called "The Elder Scrolls: Argonia," contrary to earlier speculations. The report also claimed that since the game could possibly be a direct sequel of the previous game, it means that it will not be based on "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" or "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion."

But while there are no official reports yet about the next installment of the game at the moment, fans are still hoping to receive word about "The Elder Scrolls 6" in 2016.
