"The Elder Scroll" fans have been waiting for the sixth alteration of the game for a few years now, and there is still no evidence indicating that it is being developed. Nonetheless, gamers are estimating that it will arrive three years from now, in 2019.

Bethesda, the game developer and publisher, has already denied rumors claiming that they are already working on the next sequel of the game. Pete Hines, vice president of public relations and marketing, has even hinted that there will be no news about the game for next year's Gamescon and the next after that, which is 2018, Express previously reported.

Hines said, "Just so you know, not at the next Gamescom and not the one after that; there are at least two big games from Bethesda Games Studios before we get around to Elder Scrolls 6."

He even replied directly to an inquiry via Twitter, where the marketing boss said, "FYI, 'The Elder Scrolls VI' isn't in development. We simply said we would make it eventually. Don't want people to be misled."

Based on the previous statement, fans now believed that by 2019, they will be able to hear some good news about "The Elder Scrolls 6." It is even speculated that the studio may simply surprise them and release the game in that year.

Additionally, gamers are talking about a new leveling system that is said to be introduced to the alleged game. It is said to be a combination of the skill-based system that was used in "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" and the perk-based system used in "Fallout 4," another game from the studio.

Meanwhile, there are also circulating rumors suggesting that one of the big projects mentioned earlier is actually "Skyrim 2," which will be announced later this year or early next year. It is speculated that it will be set in Tamriel, one of the several continents in Nirn.

In the meantime, fans are constantly on the lookout for any announcement from Bethesda in connection with "The Elder Scrolls 6."
