For video game players who like the adrenaline of "Prison Break" and anything with zombies in it, makers Mouldy Toof and Team 17 have conjured something for their "lovers of the undead" gamers again.

A new downloadable content (DLC) for "The Escapists 2" was released on Oct. 24. The first installment of prison escape video game was launched in August, and just in time for Halloween, the game that officially partnered with "The Walking Dead" released its second themed DLC offering; it is called Wicked Ward.

A Steam page dedicated to Wicked Ward DLC states that "things have taken a strange turn in the locked off wings of an abandoned hospital" and that gamers will again have to craft, fight, and strategize to find their way to freedom from "this natural eerie supernatural slammer."

The new game features escaping from a mad scientist and a stockpile of "walkers" that guard the territory within the haunted vicinity; it also said that the goal of the game is to "escape at all costs." The game now features a brand-new horror themed map to escape from, new Halloween-themed customizations, new outfits, items and "craftable" recipes.

"The Escapists 2: Wicked Ward" is the third game in "The Escapists" series. It is set to be released on Nintendo Switch at an unknown date. The new "Escapists" version is more detailed and has more ways to escape, more things to craft out of, a revised battle system, and more.

When the game was released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4 on Aug. 22, it launched with 10 prisons and an additional item called The Glorious Regime, which came free on pre-orders.

Steam indicates on its website a full list of system requirements so that the game may be played on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
