'The Expendables 3' meets 'Broforce' in new free game

"The Expendables" movie franchise is certainly one that is filled with raging testosterones. There is no shortage of muscle, brawns and charisma in this movie, which is why joining forces with "Broforce," an action-hero game, just makes total sense.

The fruition of the movie and the game is called "The Expendabros" and this will be a limited-time release. It is published by Devolver Digital and free to download via Steam.

"The Expendabros" will feature bro-ified versions of the characters from the movies. The game features a local co-op of up to 4 players. There will be 10 stages in the game; Eastern European sites where these action-packed characters can wreak mayhem. Further, "The Expandabros" will be hunting down their ultimate villain, an arms dealer by the name of Conrad Stonebanks—the character played by Mel Gibson in "The Expendables 3."

The original "Broforce" game is available through Steam and is playable in both Mac and Windows PC. It is not free and will cost $14.99, while the four-pack costs $44.99. As for "The Expendabros," it will only be available on PC.

"The Expandabros" is a promotional game, something to help promote the movie "The Expendables 3" that will be released on August 15 in the U.S. Again, it is free to download but it will only run for a limited time. Make sure to download the game from Steam by December 31.
