"The Fall Part 2: Unbound" will finally be released, and on the day before Valentine's nonetheless, as the developers of the game have announced it to arrive on Feb. 13.

Developer and publisher Over the Moon has announced that "The Fall Part 2: Unbound" will be available on the PC, Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 (PS4) once the game gets released. The developers have also released a new video along with their announcement for the game's release, and it gives players a peek at what the game could present to them.

"Our newest trailer highlights a strange and unsettling section of the game, during which players possess a robot designed to pleasure humans, only twist and manipulate her into hurting others to obtain their goal. We want this game to shock you, excite you, make you laugh, thematically challenge you and put you in situations you have never been in before. It's our highest goal that video games can change people for the better, and The Fall part 2: Unbound is as rich with interesting ideas as it is fun to play," according to Over the Moon CEO, John Warner.

This means that there might be mature elements in the game and that some of those might shock even adults. The game is about an artificial intelligence (AI) which has basically broken free from servitude and is now free to roam around and do as it pleases. It will be controlled by the player, but this would be short-lived since a human user has attacked the AI with a virus, which compels it to manipulate anyone and everything in order to achieve its goals.

As such, three robot companions will be available for the players to access and control. These are as follows: a posh butler, a sultry service companion, and One, a mysterious combat drone. In the trailer video, viewers will be able to the see the second one. The gameplay involves lots of puzzles and adventure sequences which will urge players to use their brains.

"The Fall Part 2: Unbound" is set to be released on the aforementioned date of Feb. 13, and it will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
