Now that Jay Garrick has finally shown himself to a flustered Team Flash, it's time to listen to what he has to say. In the premiere of "The Flash" season 2, he followed Barry around and took pictures of him. By the end of the episode, he decided to walk in on STAR Labs the second after Cisco took pride in the strengthened security system in the building. There, he relayed the bad news about their world in danger.

In "The Flash" season 2 episode 2, which is titled "Flash of Two Worlds," he will inform the team about the evil speedster Zoom and his plans to kill Barry. They won't easily trust Jay, who claims he is from Earth-2, but in this installment, he will prove he isn't bluffing.

The promo for the episode will see Jay in action. He will help the team take down a metahuman named Sand Demon, who comes from Jay's world. Jay offers to teach him how to defeat the bad guy and after Barry asks how he knows how to do such, Jay reveals "Where I come from, they call me the Flash."

In an interview with TV Line, Teddy Sears, who plays the Earth-2 Flash, revealed "Jay's biggest rival is Zoom, and he needs Barry's help to defeat this guy." Glimpses of him speeding off in his iconic suit and his hat, which fans saw fly out of the wormhole in the season finale, are seen in the promo.

Today's "The Flash" season 2 episode will also introduce a new character in the person of Patty Spivot, who will be portrayed by Shantel VanSanten. She will be the newest detective in the department and one who is determined to join Joe's metahuman task force.

In the same TV Line interview, writer Todd Helbing revealed that Patty Spivot was made to be a "very strong, hardcore female cop who has a purpose" in the series. "Just somebody that was in this for the right reasons, hell-bent on stopping metahumans," he added.
