It was previously reported that actor Robbie Amell would be reprising his role as Ronnie, but this time as Ronnie's Earth-Two counterpart, the villain known as Deathstorm. According to a report from ComicBook.com, Amell has now confirmed that Deathstorm will be responsible for a major death that takes place in "The Flash" season 2.

"In episode 13, so in a couple weeks, you'll see me as Deathstorm, and Caitlin as Killer Frost. So I get to come back, and I kill a series regular. So there's that, I'm probably going to get in trouble for saying that," the actor stated during the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest held in New Jersey.

However, this may not necessarily mean that he'll kill a major character that the audience is already familiar with. As stated in the report, it is possible that Deathstorm will kill the Earth-Two version of one of the major characters, such as the Earth-Two counterpart to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) or Cisco (Carlos Valdes).

According to a report from Cinema Blend, if this is true then it is possible that Deathstorm will kill off the Earth-Two counterpart of either Iris (Candice Patton) or Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) as both versions of the characters have been confirmed to make an appearance this season.

The report also points out that it is possible Deathstorm will kill the Earth-Two Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Wells has been working with the Earth-One team for some time but in recent episodes has agreed to aid Zoom in order to save his daughter, who is currently Zoom's prisoner and hostage.

The only thing that rules this out is the fact that Deathstorm and Killer Frost may be in league with Zoom, and at the time being Zoom is allied with Wells. Killing Wells at this point may seem meaningless unless Wells is killed at the moment he is of no further use to Zoom.

"The Flash" season 2 episode 13 will air this Feb. 9.
