The Flash is getting nearer to its season-finale and after a so-so- episode last week, it looks like the twists will be a whole lot better.

The next episode is a cross-over of sorts seeing that Quentin and Laurel Lance come into the picture. This comes about as Cisco and detective Joe West head to Starling City to seek help in finding answers concerning the accident of Wells fifteen years ago.

To recall, everyone saw that incident where Eobard Thawne assumed the identity of Wells after a planned mishap. Since then, Thawne has been masquerading as Wells which somehow explains his darker side and why he is using the Flash and playing practically everyone in Central City.

The revelation comes when the team discovers a body who turns out to be the real Dr. Harrison Wells. Despite that, the team is still at a loss on who Eobard Thawne really is.

As that progresses, the Flash has his hands full battling a shape-shifting metahuman named Hannibal Bates. Bates can transform into anyone, including the Flash. It should be interesting to see how Barry (Allen) deals with this new villain who could be somehow tied up with the fake Dr. Wells.

But it should be the end of the episode which may prove to be interesting. The team will discover the secret chamber of Thawne, finding his future-machine and of course the yellow suit of the Reverse-Flash.

They will also stumble upon the news article which shows the Flash's disappearance, all the more sprucing a lot of suspense on what may happen next. Will the Reverse-Flash or Thawne be around?

With season 1 of the Flash fast winding down, it shouldn't be long before the Flash and the Reverse-Flash finally do battle. With regards to the crossover, many are still eagerly awaiting the reunion between the Flash, the Arrow and Firestorm.
