Barry's (Grant Gustin) excitement about setting foot on Earth-2 will turn into horror when he finds himself pitting against old friends in the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series "The Flash."

In "Welcome to Earth-2," Comicbook reports that the time has come for Wells (Tom Cavanagh) to save his daughter who is being held hostage by Zoom (Tony Todd). He brings with him the speedster and tech wiz Cisco (Carlos Valdes). For Barry, this is his chance to see how their Earth-2 counterparts live in the other dimension. When he runs into Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin), the superhero is left speechless. But his reaction to seeing them is nothing compared to the emotion he will feel upon encountering his best pals Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Ronnie (Robbie Amell).

In Earth-2, Caitlin is Killer Frost, the sexpot who absorbs heat and converts it into cold waves. In the promo, she is seen in full villain mode, asking Barry and his Earth-2 self which between them is in the wrong universe. She then demonstrates her power alongside Ronnie, who turns into Deathstorm. Together, they hunt Barry and his friends, which makes the task of going back to Earth-1 within 48 hours almost an impossibility. In the event that they will not be able to, Caitlin of Earth-1 reminds Barry that they will be stuck there forever. Will they be able to dodge the duo before time runs out?

While Barry is preoccupied with saving his own skin, Jay's (Teddy Sears) mettle will be tested by the arrival of a new villain named Geomancer (Adam Stafford). With the Flash in Earth-2, it is up to Jay to protect Central City from any attack. According to a previous report, the meta-human has the ability to create powerful earthquakes. This does not bode well for the city, as Geomancer only needs to touch the ground to induce tremors. He can manipulate the earth to serve his purpose, which in this case, is to bury Jay alive. Will the speedster be able to defeat him?

"The Flash" season 2 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
