There is so much to expect from "The Flash" season 3, and one of them might be Jesse Wells (Violett Beane) turning into Jesse Quick. Although season 2 ended with the real Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) returning to his home Earth-2 as its own Flash, he will be returning in the upcoming new season of the series.

"The Flash" season 3 is definitely filled with many surprises. With two or more several villains, the opening of the "Flashpoint" arc, and Tom Felton as the newest lad in Central City, the series certainly hasn't run out of surprises for excited fans.

In the "Flashpoint" arc in season 3, Barry (Grant Gustin) isn't the Scarlet Speedster that keeps Central City safe. That job belongs to the Kid Flash, who is really Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) underneath that speedster suit. According to Cheat Sheet, the Kid Flash might be accompanied by co-speedster Jesse Quick, who is really Jesse Wells, daughter of Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). The story is Wally and Jesse got jolted by the particle accelerator at the same time and turns them into co-speedsters tag teaming in Central City.

In the season 2 finale of "The Flash," the masked man turned out to be the real Jay Garrick, who happens to be the Scarlet Speedster of Earth-3. He returned to his home along with Dr. Wells and his daughter Jesse, but he will be coming back in season 3. Executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg have many plans for Jay Garrick's participation in the upcoming season of "The Flash."

In an interview with TV Line, Shipp said, "In fact, Greg told me that one reason they were so excited about having me morph into Jay Garrick is that there are so many more ways that they could use me. I can't wait to see what they are."

"The Flash" season 3 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
