As "The Flash" season 3 is now just a few episodes away from the finale, it is going to be packed with more action, intense emotions and shocking revelations.

The show returns next week with its 19th episode, titled "The Once and Future Flash," which features Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) traveling to the future with the goal of finding out Savitar's true identity. There are speculations that Barry will succeed at discovering who Savitar really is by the end of the episode.

After this comes the 20th episode, titled "I Know Who You Are," which is said to give the viewers a showdown between Vibe/Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost/Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), who turned into the dangerous metahuman in episode 18 after Julian (Tom Felton) removed the necklace that was suppressing her metahuman abilities to save her life.

In the synopsis released by The CW, it is stated that Team Flash is going to meet a scientist named Tracy Brand (Anne Dudek), who may have the means to stop Savitar. Unfortunately, Killer Frost is also after the scientist for some reason, so the team has to battle against their friend. Cisco's vision in the past, wherein he saw himself fighting the cold-hearted version of Caitlin, could be realized in this episode.

Meanwhile, new set of images have been posted on Just Jared Jr. and these all hint that a funeral is happening this season. The images show the cast in black formal clothing, with emotional looks on their faces. However, it can be noted that not every member of Team Flash is present. While Barry, Iris, Cisco, Julian, Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale), H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), Jesse (Violett Beane), and even Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) and Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) are seen in the photos, Caitlin is nowhere to be found.

There are speculations that Caitlin is the likely candidate to die this season. The tragedy could be the result of her metahuman form's conflict with the team.

Catch "The Flash" on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
