There are a lot of things to look forward to in the coming episodes of "The Flash," and fans need to tune in to keep up with all the action-packed adventures in Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) life.

In an interview posted by the Hollywood Reporter, the lead actor in The CW's hit superhero drama said that a time travel arc will be shown in the next episodes of the series.

"We are diving deep into the time-travel element and it is going to be wild," Gustin said.

This could mean that fans can see a lot of back stories and future sequences in the show.

In the past episode, Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) was seen holding a newspaper that bears a headline from the future, while his Reverse-Flash alter-ego was also spotted during the night when Barry's mother died.

Cavanagh reiterated the time travel element in the same interview, saying, "In comic books, when you start talking about time travel — if anybody has followed The Flash, then they know Reverse-Flash and The Flash are not just doing this right now in the present day. They have a long history and there's nothing that we're not going to pursue when we try to tell the story. We're trying to tell all of it."

Meanwhile, a new villain seems to be lurking around the corner.

When The Flash beat Captain Cold and Heatwave, the villains called upon Cold's sister Lisa Snart, who will eventually become the Golden Glider. The character will be played by Peyton List. It would be interesting to see what the Golden Glider can do to torment Barry. Will she help her brother in defeating The Flash, or will she act alone to get all the glory?

Also, fans should expect to see Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) from The CW's "Arrow" visit the members of STAR Labs in an upcoming episode of the season.

"The Flash" episode 11 titled "The Sound and the Fury" airs Jan. 27.
