In the next episode of "The Good Place," Eleanor (Kristen Bell) and the gang make their way to the "bad place" to plead with the judge to free them from their hellish bond.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Rhonda, Diana, Jake, And Trent," were just recently released, and they show Michael (Ted Danson) having a discussion with his boss Shawn (Marc Evan Jackson).

It appears that they may be talking about the Eleanor, Chidi (William Jackson Harper), Tahani (Jameela Jamil), Jason (Manny Jacinto), and Janet (D'Arcy Carden), who plan to go to the supposed hell secretly and talk with the judge. Apparently, they want to see if they can convince him to pardon them of their sentences from an eternity in hell. Michael warned the fugitives that the judge is not an easy person to talk to but that they could give it a try.

Aside from convincing the judge, the gang also has to make it through the "bad place" without getting caught. It is going to be a tough journey, but the group of friends are in high spirits and looking forward to getting it done. They may be getting some help from Michael, who appears to be pulling some strings with Shawn. It remains to be seen if Eleanor and the rest will be able to get the judge's pardon and live out eternity in peace.

In the last episode, Michael designed a program to bring the gang to the real "good place," but it turned out to be a hoax because he did not know how to get to that paradise. Instead of running away, the gang decided to talk to the head judge.

"The Good Place" season 2 episode 11 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 8:30 p.m. EST on NBC.
