The second season of the fantasy comedy series "The Good Place" continues this week with an upcoming episode wherein Michael and Janet try to fix some neighborhood glitches.

The episode is titled "Janet and Michael," and when it airs this week, fans will see how the neighborhood experiences a small glitch. In light of this, Michael will attempt to resolve the issue with Janet before it gets out of control.

This glitch was introduced in the previous episode and seems to be connected to Janet. In episode 6, she began experiencing the glitches while working with Tahani (Jameela Jamil) and Jason (Manny Jacinto). When she declared that she would feel great by giving the pair a couple's therapy, her right thumb suddenly detached from her hand and floated into the air.

She theorized that this is because she was doing things that she was not supposed to do. "My guess is I'm operating in a way I'm not designed for, and it's creating a small glitch," Janet said.

Later in the same episode, when she told Tahani and Jason that she was happy for them, she experienced something utterly strange – she suddenly threw up a frog.

Things seemed to escalate further when, a month later, an earthquake rocked the entire neighborhood when she expressed the same thing toward the couple.

These may possibly lead to the revelation that Janet still retained some of her memories even after she had been rebooted many times. Fans of the show will remember that she was once married to Jason. It is possible that Janet still has these memories and she is having glitches because she is only pretending to be happy for Jason and Tahani.

Series creator Michael Schur has also hinted something similar in an interview with Variety.

"When Jason's wiped clean, that's it, he doesn't remember having any emotional feelings for Janet," the series creator said. "The question remains what is it like for Janet, obviously, because she's not exactly a human being. Janet ostensibly has been rebooted again, and she shouldn't have any memory of him either. But that is something that we'll get into later in the season."

"The Good Place" airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. EDT on NBC.
