Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) seems to be very upset at how things are going in her job as the new State Attorney. This might eventually lead to her sudden decision to leave her post in the coming episode of "The Good Wife" season 6. 

Based on the past episodes this season, Alicia was not actually interested in entering politics. But when her friend Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) was arrested, she had no other choice but to run during the elections, which she eventually won against her opponent Frank Prady (David Hyde Pierce).

In the wake of her victory, however, Alicia finds herself in the middle of an election scandal when her voter fraud and campaign corruption was exposed.

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

Alicia faces an uncertain future when she is forced to resign as State's Attorney in the wake of a voter fraud scandal. Also, R.D. (Oliver Platt) hires Diane (Christine Baranski) and Cary to argue against two ultra-conservative lawyers for a test case involving mandatory minimum sentencing." 

To clear her name, Alicia might have to seek help from one of the most popular civil rights lawyers, Spencer Randolph (Ron Rifkin), regarding her case. 

The lead actress of the show also teased during an interview with Entertainment Weekly that her character's feud with Peter (Chris Noth) might come to a close in the episode titled "The End."

Margulies said that Alicia "needs a little something something. She needs to let her hair down. I think she needs to just loosen up a little bit. It had been a long time since she kissed anyone." 

The end might also come for Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) next episode. Rumors are claiming that the character will say goodbye to her position as a detective since her crooked decision to save Cary could threaten her job. 

"The Good Wife" season 6 episode 20 airs April 26.
