A new face enters the scene in "The Good Wife" season 7 episode 16 and this very same face might just be the downfall of Peter Florrick. "Glee" alum Matthew Morrison is making his debut in the series as assistant U.S. attorney Connor Fox.

Morrison's character is about to give Peter the biggest legal beating he has ever faced in the upcoming "The Good Wife" episode titled "Hearing." Fox will be putting together a grand jury that will dig up every dirty secret the presidential candidate is keeping.

It is believed that Peter's greatest political nightmare has solidified in the form of Fox, but before he can expose every skeleton in his closet, Eli and Alicia along with Mike Tascioni will be helping Peter in his biggest legal battle yet in the next "The Good Wife" season 7 episode.

Of course, there's no assurance that they will be able to outsmart Fox because none of them know anything about the case the grand jury is about to throw at Peter. But the idea of the three putting their heads together in researching just about every possible charge that can be filed against him might just do the trick.

However, there's this problem about Alicia's head not in the game at times. The synopsis for "The Good Wife" season 7 episode teases that her weekend with Jason will be cut short. Their alone time turns out to be not as quiet as they would have liked it.

It looks like Alicia has so much to consider about this relationship with Jason but nothing seems to matter right now as it appears that they are finally taking a chance on romance.

"The Good Wife" season 7 is taking a week-long break, which means that episode 16 "Hearing" won't air on CBS until March 6.
