Peter is (sort of) going to get a little help from Alicia and her mom for his presidential bid in the next "The Good Wife" season 7 episode, which is simply and fittingly titled "Cooked." His campaign agent Willa thinks that having the pair join a mother and daughter cooking show will help boost her candidate's chances.

Unfortunately, she's wrong and is totally wide off the mark. In the promo for the episode, it is shown that even Eli is confused about what Willa wants Alicia and her mom Veronica to do although the synopsis teased that he will eventually encourage them. Willa, however, seems to be very confident with her plan too until she realizes that Veronica may have been drinking.

The synopsis for the upcoming "The Good Wife" season 7 episode teases that the mother and daughter will push through the cooking show. However, the result will be "a disaster."

How much of a debacle this will get should be interesting to see, especially how this, which could be considered Willa's blunder, will actually play out to Eli's advantage. As seen in the promo, his new office is so small that his table occupies all of scanty space . The door can't even open completely and someone has to slide into the tiny space it offers to be able to get in.

Apart from a cooking show with the not-so-sober mom, which is already a lot to take in, Alicia will also have to deal with a court case involving a designer drug dealer, who Alicia accuses for being dishonest. "You're not who you say you are," she tells the flustered guy in the promo. To get to the bottom of this case, Alicia will partner with Quinn. Will their teamwork bear fruits?

Viewers will see "The Good Wife" season 7 episode 3 "Cooked" when it airs Oct. 18 on CBS.
