After "The Good Wife" treated viewers with courtside blows and the much-awaited and ever-demanded steamy kiss shared by Alicia and her campaign manager John in the previous episode of the hit CBS legal and political drama, it's time for Peter Florrick's grand schemes to unfold. 

In episode 16 of "The Good Wife" season 6 titled "Red Meat," the governor of Illinois will make his attempts to destroy his wife's hopes in becoming the state attorney. According to the synopsis of the episode, Peter drops contentious statements about his former lover-turned-biggest-political-rival Alicia in one interview. These statements are deemed so controversial that they can change the outcome of the looming Election Day for her. 

The state attorney war is building up and candidates are doing their best to turn voters against their rivals. In last week's episode, Frank Prady had a go at Peter in the hopes of kicking him out of the competition. In that same episode, Alicia also contemplated on taking away potential voters and supporters from Peter. 

There's no way of telling what Peter is about to say or do that will make Alicia suffer, but it sure means much more trouble to deal with. Alicia does not have the best campaign right now, and her life partner's actions will not make it easy for her to get back up and think straight about the election. 

On the other hand, Diane Lockhart will be hitting two birds with one stone in episode 16. As she goes on a fun weekend excursion with her husband Kurt McVeigh and his well-heeled hunting pals, the trip leads her to a new client for the firm. 

"The Good Wife" season 6 episode 16 "Red Meat" will be aired on March 22.
