"The Good Wife" season 7 has seen Alicia (Julianna Margulies) open her own law firm along with Lucca (Cush Jumbo) but as the episodes have showcased, the duo are encountering one major issue: the lack of resources. Episode 13, titled "Judged," will compound on this as Alicia deals with a case gone wrong.

According to the official synopsis from TV.com, Alicia discovers to her horror that a former bond court client was imprisoned when he shouldn't have been. She tries to make the case to Judge Schakowsky (Christopher McDonald) but it only turns into a heated argument as it appears the judge doesn't want to re-open the case.

It is possible that Judge Schakowsky doesn't want his or the court's reputation to be put in jeopardy but Alicia will try to push forward with freeing the wrongfully imprisoned client. Not only will she be doing what she believes to be the right thing but winning a case such as this may boost her private law firm forward.

The title of the episode also teases that Judge Schakowsky may be the episode's primary antagonistic force although the show has, on numerous occasions, portrayed its antagonists as people just trying to do what they think is right despite the results not coming out in everyone's favor.

Back at Lockart, Agos, & Lee, things aren't looking so good either. The synopsis reveals that Diane (Christine Baranski) will be spending time helping a student editor work on the college newspaper when she suddenly finds herself threatened by the school administration.

The synopsis reveals that the school will threaten to fire her for writing what they believe to be a politically charged article, something that the school body may not be entirely enthusiastic about. It is likely that the school wants to avoid any form of political talk in their newspapers or they may have a different viewpoint that Diane may have unknowingly written against.
