Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and their super-powered children are heading back to the big screen this year with "The Incredibles 2." Disney has yet to release its first full-length trailer, but fans may get that more comprehensive look at the long-awaited sequel next week.

As with the past years, Disney is expected to run spots during Feb. 4's Super Bowl and Deadline reports that "The Incredibles 2" trailer is likely among those to be aired. While this is just pure speculation, for now, there is precedent for the release of such trailer.

According to Comic Book, Mouse House released the teaser for the film which featured Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible and baby Jack Jack's undisciplined powers on ESPN's College Gameday back in November 2017. Not only is Super Bowl 52 a sports event, it is the biggest one ahead of the film's premiere as well, making it the perfect time to air the full trailer of a highly anticipated movie like "The Incredibles 2."

After all, things are already heating up for the project. Just this week, Disney revealed information on the new characters joining the cast as well as a look at their designs. It is about time for the trailer to arrive.

Picking up right where the original left off 14 years ago, "The Incredibles 2" sees the Parr family — who previously came out of superhero retirement to fight Syndrome — immediately facing a new big bad called the Underminer. The character in question is the cartoonish, mole-like villain who emerged from the earth in the last few seconds of the first installment.

"It starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on," Pixar's chief creative officer, John Lasseter, said at the D23 Expo last year, adding, "A minute will have passed. It starts with the Underminer and a big old set piece. You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that's where we start this movie."

Directed by Brad Bird, "The Incredibles 2" is scheduled to hit theaters on June. 15.
