Netflix has a lot of shows to offer for their customers, except for one – The Legend of Korra.

After airing its final episode last December 19, 2014, fans are clamoring for Netflix to purchase the Avatar franchise and add it to their list of streaming services.

A resident from the United Kingdom, Josh Booth has created a petition on Change.org, request Netflix to place under serious consideration to pick up the franchise. The petition at Change.org reads:

"After the success of Avatar: The Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender, Nickelodeon has decided to discontinue the Avatar franchise," the petition page reads. "Netflix has a track record for creating it's own incredible televison, and has proven with shows such as Arrested Development that it can re-ignite under-appreciated shows with a cult following."

While the petition is seen as something to satisfy the fans of the anime show, there seems to be more to it. Apparently, Booth is hoping that should Netflix consider The Legend of Korra franchise, the move could sway creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino to continue the saga of the popular animated series.

The Legend of Korra has a solid following and covers topics that include gender equality, terrorism and war. The show is presented in 2D animation and normally involves a lot of fight scenes and battles and is aptly aided by soundtracks which makes viewers more glued to it.

The petition was filed last December 28 and has reportedly amassed 1,400 signatures already. As fans eagerly await the outcome of their petition, previous episodes of The Legend of Korra can be viewed here.
