The release date of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" may have just been revealed in the official websites of Nintendo France and Nintendo UK.

The codes on the pages dedicated to the game's amiibos curiously listed a date, March 4, 2017. It is believed to be the launch date for the figurines for Archer Link, Rider Link, and Guardian.

The error may have not only revealed when fans can expect the amiibos. Games Radar points out that this leak may have inadvertently divulged the actual release date of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" as well as the Nintendo NX.

Amiibos of a certain game usually hit the market on the same day the title comes out or shortly after that. This suggests that the long-awaited "The Legend of Zelda" installment could finally see the light of day on March 4, 2017.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" also happens to be a launch title for the Nintendo NX, which means that by the said date, the next-generation console from the company could be made available as well.

Nintendo has already said before that the NX is being slated for a March 2017 release, and this new leak made it more possible that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is coming along.

This could only work, however, if Nintendo does release the amiibos with the action-adventure video game which was originally set for a 2016 launch.

March 4, 2017 is a Saturday, and Nintendo typically releases amiibos in Europe on a Friday, unless, as Games Radar points out, the company wants a worldwide launch for the toys.

This is not far from happening considering the fact that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is one of Nintendo's biggest and most highly-anticipated releases that fans all over the world are waiting for.

Serving as the nineteenth installment in the "Legend of Zelda" franchise and the first high-definition game from the series, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will also be released on the Wii U.
