Ever since Nintendo Switch came to existence, gamers have been wondering what sort of titles would be coming to the console. Well, the recently revealed "The Legend of Zelda" game is no exception to this, as many have hoped for it to be available on the console. Unfortunately, it is not.

Reports have it that the newly announced "The Legend of Zelda" game won't be coming to Nintendo Switch. The same goes for rumors about the game coming to the Wii U console. Why? Well, this is due to the fact that the said game is a physical game — a board game to be exact. Of course, for the hardcore fans of the franchise, this is a bitter pill to swallow.

Apparently, the new game is called "The Legend of Zelda Clue Game" which is manufactured by USAopoly. It is slated to arrive in North America. It is worth noting, however, that this board will not be based on "Breath of the Wild." Rather, it will utilize all the main characters found in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."

As of this writing, "The Legend of Zelda" board game is only expected to arrive to Canada and the United States. It remains a mystery as to when it will acquire a global release. As such, U.K.-based fans will not be acquiring the game for the meantime.

Since "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was released on both the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, its popularity continues to soar high. It is even dubbed as the second best-selling IP in March, just a notch behind Ubisoft's "Ghost Recon Wildlands." Due to this, Nintendo plans to further support the franchise into a newer horizon; hence the above-mentioned board game.

In related news, Forbes notes that there is a surefire way to dominate "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." This is by way of using the most useful recipe in the game, and it only requires one ingredient: the durian fruit. It is best known as one of the most exotic fruits in Asia. When players cook and consume five of them, they will acquire full heart recovery and a plus 20 in maximum hearts.
